Our Surgeon - Sidney P. Rohrscheib, MD
Dr. Sid Rohrscheib was born & raised in Decatur, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at The Ohio State University Hospitals. At the time, The Ohio State University Hospitals were one of the most recognized facilities for Bariatric surgery. He is a Board Certified General Surgeon and is a member of both the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Rohrscheib has successfully performed nearly 600 Gastric Bypasses and over 500 Lap-Band procedures.

Dr. Rohrscheib is a general surgical provider for the Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton, Illinois and Provena Covenant in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois as was well as part of the Trauma Surgery Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. He is also an instructor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Champaign.

Dr. Rohrscheib and his wife Krista currently reside in Clinton with their two daughters.
